Growler Estrella Galícia


L'empresa Cluster, en col·laboració amb Estrella Galicia, va presentar un repte a la universitat per dissenyar un growler aïllant per a cervesa de bodega. El nostre enfocament va ser reconnectar amb les arrels de la marca i destacar la importància del llúpol gallec, un element clau en la identitat d’Estrella Galicia.

Per reflectir aquest llegat, vam dissenyar l'ampolla amb la forma d’un llúpol invertit, simbolitzant el cor del procés de fabricació de la cervesa i la rellevància d’aquest ingredient local. L’elecció dels materials també va ser fonamental. La coberta aïllant es va confeccionar amb sisal, una fibra natural recuperada de plantacions gallegues, en sintonia amb les pràctiques sostenibles de la regió. Això no només assegurava les propietats aïllants del growler, sinó que també retia homenatge a l’artesania local i als valors mediambientals.

The company Cluster, in collaboration with Estrella Galicia, presented a challenge to the university to design an insulating growler for cellar beer. Our focus was to reconnect with the brand’s roots and highlight the importance of Galician hops, a key element in Estrella Galicia’s identity.

To reflect this legacy, we designed the bottle in the shape of an inverted hop, symbolizing the heart of the brewing process and the relevance of this local ingredient. The choice of materials was also fundamental. The insulating cover was made of sisal, a natural fiber recovered from Galician plantations, in line with the sustainable practices of the region. This not only ensured the insulating properties of the growler, but also paid tribute to local craftsmanship and environmental values.
